Biographical Information

I received a "D.E.A" (M.S.) in 1990 and Ph.D. in 1995 both in Computer Science from the University of Montpellier II. My PhD dissertation was entitled "Développement d'outils algorithmique pour l'Intelligence Artificielle. Application a la chimie organique" (Development of algorithmic tools for Artificial Intelligence. Application to organic chemistry) and Olivier Gascuel (CNRS) was my supervisor.

In November 2004, I defended my "Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches" at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. The title of my HDR dissertation is "Modélisation et Contraintes Globales en Programmation par Contraintes" (Modeling and Global Constraints in Constraint Programming.) [pdf].

Immediately after my PhD, I was hired by ILOG , where I am the Director of Constraint Programming.
